Hello, My name is Christy-Anne A., I am a 29 yr old female born in Los Angeles, CA but raised in Miami, FL all my life. I have been with my husband for 11 yrs as of October 2009, but married for almost 7 yrs. I grew up around computers & when I was a teen I loved to find girlie graphics & make websites. I think I was 19 when I created my 1st website with frames & all. I think it would also help since I have a nerdy brother, he knows computers like a REAL geek.
As years have past I have grown more & more fond of the internet & the web design field, DON’T ask me to make it a career out of it b/c I dont think I have the patience, but on a personal level & maybe having a couple paid jobs here & there would be awesome & thats how I got started.
About 4-5 years ago one of my Best Friends became addicted to this high school show called One Tree Hill, as much as I tried to become interested- I just couldnt get hooked. Until one day- I was bored, with no cable in the house & asked for her to lend me some DVD’s, so what did she do? She lent me the 3 seasons of One Tree Hill & said that was the ONLY thing she would let me borrow. I was furious but said fine. I tried watching season 1 but took forever, one saturday my husband decided to watch it with me, so I started from the beginning & we watched probably 1/2 of the season when we realized we were addicted & couldnt get enough. It took maybe 3-4 days to watch season 1, but about a GRAND total of 8-10 days to watch all 3 seasons, byt the time we were finished we couldnt wait to start watching midseason of season 4, we went everywhere looking for the 1st episodes of Season 4. To our dismay we couldnt find it, but the WB at that time was replaying the 1st couple episodes before the season started again.
It took a couple of months & adjusting to watching Season 4 by the time I started looking for fansites, thats how I ran into OneTreeHillBlog.com, I realized at the moment she was the ONLY one updating almost daily & a couple times a day. I made sure to bookmark her & check her out VERY OFTEN. Season 5 came around & I was officially IN love with OTH. Season 6 came around & I brought up to Amy that we can maybe take some weight off her website by starting a Chat room off her domain, she agreed & thats when OTHBlogchat.com was created, we tried & tried to take the weight off, but no matter what she always had the site going down. Our Chat room encountered 2 familiar people from One Tree Hill & things were going great until the 1st 6 wk break. Things died down & remained like that until I officially decided to somewhat shut it down at the end of the 6th season finale.
As I closed that down I was becoming more & more addicted to Twitter & seeing all the celebs on there. Of course the 1st thing I did about 4 months ago was look for One Tree Hill cast members on there. I did find a couple & thought since Twitter wasnt THAT big yet, that maybe- JUST maybe they were real. To my dismay they werent, but I would see the thousands of people that would follow them & I felt like the fans needed somewhere to go to let them know if they are following the right person or not & thats when I came up with Twitter Bugs… OTH’s Twitter Bugs. So, I locate or have you, my supporters/followers send me an email & send me a link to the profile, we check it out & try to see if they are real or not, I have a couple things I look for & a couple places I go- if I cant find anything, I str8 out send them a Tweet asking to prove themselves. If we assume them to be fake I post it on my fakers page, post a twitter & ask everyone to RT (Retweet) for me. Eventually having them lose so many “fans” that they shut down. I have recently been given the advice on how to get in contact with a Celebrity’s “people”. I have since gone in, paid my dues & got all the information I needed from pretty much EVERY single One Tree Hill Cast, Crew, Musician, guest stars & so on. I spent about 3 days sending out emails, making phone calls & waiting for call backs- to get either confirmation or denial of the twitter profile. As they called back, I updated my blog with the latest info. I have gotten great feedback from the managers of a job well done that they have promised to keep in touch with me if anything changes. So if anything does change, I will update YOU.
Now- I would like to make clear, I do NOT benefit from any of this, the ONLY income I get & if I get anything from it, its the ads on my page. I am a stay at home Wife so I have the time to research & do this for free. I have NO reason to lie to anyone on these profiles being fake, Trust me I want them to be as real as YOU DO! If I had something to gain, dont you think I would lie just to keep you coming back to my website & say that they ARE the real person, but I am not. It’s interesting but annoying sometimes when I get asked the usual question- “How do you know its fake?” ” Are you sure its fake?” ” Why are you making people think these people ae fake?”- Those that question me & havent been to my site, dont know what I do & how I do my work. I love it when fans start to argue, seriously I am 28 yrs old & I know what I do & how I got my resource, I have nothing to prove to anyone, you can either believe me or not!
